Dr. Cheng is Chairman of Knight Dragon and New World Development Company Limited as well as Executive Director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited.

Emilie GilesCEO

Emilie has over 18 years of experience across real estate, large-scale development and hospitality, joining Knight Dragon from CTF Development International. Emilie held a key leadership role for the CTF group directing major strategic and investment initiatives, as well as overseeing the performance, capital planning and long-term direction of hotel and mixed-use assets across the portfolio. She brings with her extensive commercial and corporate governance expertise, having served as Associate General Counsel at CTF and on the boards of several CTF subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Jenny SmallmanChief of Staff

Jenny has worked with Knight Dragon for 4 years leading on strategic, operational and HR matters. During this time, she also ran her own consultancy business supporting companies in various sectors.   

Previously, Jenny was Head of HR for Kurt Geiger leading the team to provide HR services to 1000 retail and 80 head office employees in 80 locations.  Her primary function was to improve business performance through people. 

Aaron EllisHead of Finance

With over 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting, Aaron leads the finance function at Greenwich Peninsula, bringing strong commercial insight and strategic leadership to the business. A graduate of the University of Warwick with a BSc in Accounting & Finance, he trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Kingston Smith in 2014. Since joining Knight Dragon in 2018, Aaron has played a key role in shaping financial strategy, governance and long-term investment planning for the company’s flagship London development.

Laura FlanaganMarketing Director

With 15 years of experience across the property sector, including commercial, residential and placemaking, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her current role at Knight Dragon. Her career has taken her to New York, Amsterdam and across multiple locations in London including The Shard, and most recently Greenwich Peninsula – Knight Dragon’s flagship London development. Laura sits on the Executive Committee of Knight Dragon, overseeing all marketing, business development and commercial activity for the place including Design District, London’s first permanent home for the creative industries.

Dom GlanzHead of Development

Dom is Head of Development at Greenwich Peninsula, Knight Dragon’s flagship London regeneration project. He leads the Development and Planning teams and oversees delivery across the Peninsula, working closely with key stakeholders including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, the Greater London Authority and the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Before joining Knight Dragon in 2021, Dom spent 16 years at Westfield, working on all three of the company’s major London regeneration projects in senior finance and development roles.

Daniel GwynnGeneral Counsel

Daniel brings broad experience in governance, compliance and legal strategy to Knight Dragon, supporting the delivery of the Greenwich Peninsula development.

Qualified as a solicitor in 2003, Daniel has built a career spanning real estate, construction, mining and large-scale regeneration. He previously served as a consultant to Network Rail, where he was the legal lead on the creation of Platform4, a company established to transform under-used railway land into thriving communities. Earlier in his career, Daniel was Legal Director at Travis Perkins plc, overseeing major group property transactions and Legal Counsel at Lafarge Tarmac, where he managed extensive mineral, land restoration and development portfolios.
